Today, I would ask you to allow yourself
to believe.
If you believe that you can do whatever
you can dream, then you might set yourself out on a great adventure, tackling
the largest mountain in the chain and spending your life climbing to the
top. And whether or not you ever reach
that mountain peak, you will have spent a life time full of interest, full of
challenge, growing and learning and strengthening yourself in every moment.
But if you believe that you cannot
succeed, that there are things unattainable, then you may sit at the foot of
the mountain gazing up, looking at the other climbers with envy and a deep
yearning, wishing you had their skills, not understanding that all they have
that you do not is the belief that it is possible and the desire to commit
themselves to their dream.
Allow yourself to yearn and dream,
yes. But more importantly, allow
yourself to act on those dreams, to truly believe that they are achievable, and
to actually begin the climb. Everything
is in the action. And the belief is
necessary before you will allow yourself to act.
Yes, it is possible. It is possible to overcome that habit or
addiction that has plagued you for years.
It is possible to regain your health.
It is possible to become proficient at that skill, even at this
age. It is possible to enter that new
profession, beginning at the bottom, yes, but gradually working your way
up. It is possible to get out of debt
and form a new financial foundation. It
is possible to have loving relationships.
It is possible to recreate your life in both the inner and outer forms
and walk through your days in peace and joy.
Allow yourself to believe in yourself
and the help which is there for you.
Allow yourself to live a free and vibrant life, full of adventure and growth. Allow yourself to believe.
Here is a little prayer for today "I believe that the world is full of
possibility and opportunity, sparkling around me. I believe that I am strong and capable and
fully able to avail myself of this bounty. I believe I am surrounded by help and
guidance, and that if I but ask, I will be showered with loving assistance. I believe that I can choose to make my
dreams come true by simply acting on them and filling my heart with courage,
belief and a deep love of life. I am full of courage, I am joy and love
and deep connection with all that is. I
am."
